Skills & experience

Emily combines teaching the violin, viola and ensembles with performing as an orchestral musician, chamber musician and soloist.

She has performed much of the chamber music repertoire with strings, piano and woodwind in festivals, concerts, competitions and for music societies in the UK, Holland, Sweden, Switzerland, Poland, France and Germany. Examples include Wigmore Hall, Peter de Grote Festival, City Music Society, Music in Quiet Places Concert Series, St-Martin-in-the-Fields, Festival Ravel and Academia Muzyczna, Gdansk.

As an orchestral musician, Emily has performed with the English Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonisches Orchester Hagen and the London Concert Orchestra as well as with musicians working in other genres, including Boy George and Dominic Horowitz. She has performed as a soloist with orchestras and in recitals with pianists in the UK, France, Germany, Holland and Switzerland.

Emily enjoys using her extensive training and professional experience to give beginners the best possible start to their musical education and to give more advanced players the tools they need to fulfil their artistic potential.
