Will’s first instrument is the euphonium, in which he holds an ABRSM diploma. He is a graduate of the University of Southampton, where he specialised in both euphonium and conducting.

Skills & experience
Will has a long history in contesting brass bands, beginning with representing England in the European Brass Band Championships, placing 3rd. He has played with a number of successful bands, and is currently a member of the successful Bournemouth Concert Brass. He is an experienced ensemble director, working with both youth and adult ensembles. He is in demand across the South of England as a freelance player and conductor.
Will joined West Sussex Music in 2018, and has been the director of the flagship West Sussex Youth Wind Orchestra since September 2020.
