Corporate opportunities

Thank you for choosing to support West Sussex Music. We bring the love of music to over 25,000 children and young people and your organisation can help us. Getting involved with West Sussex Music can also be rewarding for you as a business and for your employees, some of whom may already be aware of our work. Helping us can raise your profile and bring your staff team together around a common purpose.

We will say thank you through PR, advertising, social media and website links/news. We will invite you to our concerts and create certificates and thank you letters for you to display

There are so many things that you could support:

Our Bursary Fund enables children and young people, who otherwise couldn’t afford it, to take part in music lessons in school and join one of our Music Centres.

Orchestras our accessible music  project for young people with special educational needs or disabilities with the aim of creating fully inclusive music ensembles at our music centres.

The Biennial Tour gives 100 of our most gifted musicians the opportunity to tour in Europe every two years; giving concerts and getting an understanding of the pressure of daily rehearsals followed by performances. Many of these young people have gone on to have careers in music.

Our Events and concerts are wonderful opportunities for our young people to be part of choirs and ensembles across the County and for their families and local communities the opportunity to enjoy their achievements.

How you can help us

Charity of the Year: Make us your charity of the year and set a fundraising target which your staff can contribute to individually or collectively if you wish.

Sponsor an event: We run regular events and concerts during the year and are always looking for sponsors – whether it is the production of the programme or the hire of the venue or one or all of the elements that makes them attract enthusiastic audiences.

Payroll giving:Payroll giving enables you to make regular tax-free donations to charity directly from your pay. If you do offer this, we would be very grateful if you could raise awareness of West Sussex Music amongst your employees.

Match funding:If your company runs a matched funding scheme, we would be very grateful if you would consider match funding towards a specific project or if one of your employees takes part in a Fundraising event.

“We are thrilled to be the first headline sponsor for West Sussex Music Trust and are looking forward to working with them on this event. We are excited to attend the concert on 21st July and hope to hear some young residents from our Kilnwood Vale development in Faygate perform. Our business is not just about building homes, but helping to shape the communities in which we operate and our new partnership with West Sussex Music Trust fits the bill.  We would encourage other local businesses to join us in supporting this wonderful celebration of music.” Eileen Guihen, Sales and Marketing Executive from Crest Nicholson South
