What We Offer

West Sussex Music provides high quality, innovative music education for children and young people between the ages of 5 – 18 (up to 25 years of age for young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities).

We offer schools the opportunity to ensure that every child has the chance to learn a musical instrument. This is achieved by weekly tuition in our whole-class ensemble tuition programme Key2Music for a minimum of one term.

We provide ensemble opportunities from an early stage at our Music Centres.

We ensure that affordable high quality instrumental and vocal tuition is available to all young people.

We ensure that every child has a chance to sing regularly and that choirs and other vocal ensembles are available in their area.

We provide continuous professional development to school staff - particularly in supporting schools to deliver music in the curriculum.

We provide a low cost instrument loan service.

We provide access to large-scale, high quality music experiences for children and young people.

We work with professional musicians and venues to publicise the opportunities available to schools, parents/carers and students.
