We’ve got an exciting workshop designed for 8 – 16 yr olds Music Production & DJ!

Explore the exciting world of Rap and Music Production in this hands-on workshop, where creativity and technical skills come together. You’ll dive into the fundamentals of rap and songwriting, learning how to develop rhythm, refine your flow, and craft compelling stories through your lyrics. Alongside this, you’ll gain practical experience in music creation and mixing, including beat-making, sound design, and track arrangement using professional tools.

We’ll be in:

Crawley on Monday 27, Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 July between 10.30am – 3pm

Come for one or all three days. Lunch is included!

Open to 8 – 16 yr olds, all skill levels are welcome and equipment is provided. These workshops are a wonderful opportunity to be active during school holidays and make music with others.

Free places for those receiving free school meals. 

All participants will receive a Digital Badge after completing the workshops. Digital badges are innovative, visual representations of skills, achievements, or certifications earned online. Louie Le Vack Session Leader

Meet Louie Le  Vack,  a UK, born and bred MC/Poet and Performer from London and the South Coast. Crossing new jazz, neo hip hop and uk rap, ​Le Vack ​is a captivating performer. His conscious, intelligent lyrics and versatility are there to see in his debut EP, ​Deja Vu, with the follow up, ​Deja 2, launching in 2020. Louie brings a wealth of experience to the table.

Lee Ashment Session Leader

Meet Lee Ashment, graduated from the British Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) in Brighton after completing his master’s degree in popular music practice as well as his BA(Hons) in Popular Music Performance. Whilst studying he focused his training on music theory as well as the most popular contemporary styles of music.

During the Rap & Music Production workshop you will learn:

  • Explore creative writing, rhyming and rhythm
  • Music production and composition using digital tools
  • Record a song as part of a group
  • Collaborate in singing and songwriting
  • How to create and arrange tracks, including beat-making.
  • Perform to your peers
