We’ve got an exciting workshop designed for 8 – 16 yr olds Music Production & DJ!
Get a hands-on introduction to music creation and mixing. Learn beat-making, sound design, and track arrangement with professional tools. The DJ segment covers mixing, beatmatching, and seamless transitions. Whether you’re into producing tracks or DJing live, this workshop offers practical skills and insights into both the creative and technical aspects of music production. We’ll be in:
Bognor Regis on Wednesday 23 July, Thursday 24 July & Friday 25 July between 10.30am – 3pm.
Crawley on Monday 28 July, Tuesday 29 July & Wednesday 30 July between 10.30am – 3pm
Come for one or all days. Lunch is included!
Open to 8 – 16 yr olds, all skill levels are welcome and equipment is provided. These workshops are a wonderful opportunity to be active during school holidays and make music with others.
Free places for those receiving free school meals.
All participants will receive a Digital Badge after completing the workshops. Digital badges are innovative, visual representations of skills, achievements, or certifications earned online. They serve as a modern credentialing tool, allowing individuals to showcase their accomplishments across platforms, enhancing credibility and engagement. By delving into the world of digital badges, users can gain ultimate recognition for their learning journeys, making their skills more visible to employers and peers alike.

Andrew Ferguson
Session Leader
Meet Andrew Ferguson, aka Nomine. With a career spanning over 30 years as an international touring DJ and music producer, Andrew brings a wealth of experience to the table. He is the founder of Education & Bass, a record label owner, and holds a Master’s Degree in Advanced Music Technology and teaching qualification.
During the Music Production & DJ workshop you will learn:
- The fundamentals of music through DJing
- Music production and composition
- Use of decks and live performance technology
- How to compose music to video
- The use of tempo, pitch, texture, and rhythm
- To create your own beats and compose songs
