Max completed his degree in Music Industry Practice at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford in 2020, specialising in guitar. After graduating, Max went on to gain his teaching qualification, which has allowed him to share his love of music with people of all ages and abilities.
Max has enjoyed teaching in lots of different settings — from whole-class instrumental lessons in schools, to small groups, to one-to-one lessons in his own private practice. Wherever he’s teaching, he loves helping students build confidence and discover the joy of making music.
Outside of teaching, Max has kept busy as a performer and musician. He’s played in a variety of ensembles and at a range of venues and occasions, with a focus on pop and rock. He’s also collaborated with a number of artists, offering his guitar, toplining, and production skills. He can also be found behind the drum kit or playing bass when the opportunity calls.
Friendly, patient, and passionate about music, Max brings plenty of energy and encouragement to both the classroom and the stage.
