Music Mark of Recognition
If your school meets one or more of the following criteria, West Sussex Music can support your application for FREE membership of Music Mark: the UK Association for Music Education:
Evidence of a willingness to engage in development conversations related to improving music provision- Recognition of the value of music education as part of a broad and balanced curriculum
- A strategy for music in place which provides for all children
Music Mark has added to their schools’ membership scheme for 2025-26.
In addition to their free opportunities and paid-for schools’ membership (£50 per year) they have now introduced the Music Mark of Recognition to help celebrate and recognise your school’s commitment to music both in and out of the curriculum.
Schools presented with a Music Mark of Recognition certificate benefit from a 50% reduction in school membership.
