She runs workshops and courses for singers, composition and song-writing teaching training CPD sessions, leads choirs, Big Sings and project manages events. Emily is always happy to have a creative conversation about devising workshops, collaborative projects and developing events with you.

Emily also leads several adult Community Choirs under the umbrella of West Sussex Sings and works with international companies Roche Diagnostics and AstraZeneca, creating and leading their workplace choirs, directing and producing virtual choir videos for both organisations.

In her role as a published songwriter, Emily has written many original contemporary songs for young people and community choirs including the Sing Up Day anthems for several years which have been performed by over 400,000 people around the world. She was the composer and workshop leader for 2020’s Celebration finale piece at Snape Maltings, working with 1400 young musicians, and is repeating this honour in 2022.

One half of Umbria in Harmony, providing singing holidays in Italy and Northumberland,  Emily remains a performer in her own right, and regularly fronts her own original music project at gigs and festivals.

Testimonials

Many thanks for a hugely inspiring vocal workshop yesterday; we will be following-up with the boys who attended and putting ‘next steps’ in place. …….. We are still buzzing. Many, many thanks.    Head of Music at Tanbridge House School
