Introducing the new Director of the West Sussex Youth Choirs,     Sarah Forbes

The West Sussex Youth Choir is for talented singers from across the county in Years 9 to 13. Musical Director, Sarah Forbes, leads energetic and fast-paced sessions to equip young people with all the skills they need to become outstanding choral singers whilst also developing good vocal technique, exploring musical expression, communication and creativity.

Sarah Forbes is a classically trained singer, having performed in both opera and oratorio. She has her own company creating opera for young audiences and is currently touring ‘Over the Moon - a first opera for little people’ to theatres across the country. Sarah is an experienced choral conductor and specialises in training young voices, having worked with London Youth Choir, Finchley Children’s Music Group and Trinity College of Music Juniors as well as performing with London Symphony Orchestra in their education concerts at The Barbican.

Join West Sussex Youth Choir in the Spring term

Entry into West Sussex Youth Choir is by audition. Come along to a FREE trial session followed by an informal listening session with Sarah.
