We are thrilled to offer a creative music workshop for 8 to 11 year olds where children will have the opportunity to make music with members of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) and an exclusive opportunity to watch the RPO in rehearsal the following weekend.
The RPO is a professional orchestra based in London that regularly performs at The Hawth in Crawley and is working in partnership with West Sussex Music to offer this free workshop.
The creative music workshop, which runs from 9.30am to 12.30pm, is for children local to Crawley who are interested in making music together and can bring their instrument with them. Any standard of player is welcome, and any instrument is welcome, you don’t even need to read music. It’s about being creative, playing with some of the RPO’s professional musicians, and having fun!
All workshop attendees are invited to the RPO’s special free rehearsal at 10.30am to 12noon on Sunday 18 February.
