Holiday Workshop

Exciting holiday workshops hit Bognor Regis and Worthing in December. 

Looking for something epic to do over the holidays? Want your kids to make some noise, build confidence, and have a seriously fun day out? We’ve got just the thing. 

This December, young people across West Sussex can dive into two exciting, creative and totally hands-on music workshop – for beginners building their skills, or for young musicians ready to take things to the next level. Even better, lunch is included. 

PLAY IN A BAND, Worthing (Ages 11–16) 

22–23 December, 10.30am–2.30pm, Northbrook College, BN12 6NU 

Come for one day or both! 

If your child loves guitar, bass, drums, keys or singing, and already knows a few basics, this workshop is where they level up. They’ll: 

  • Form their own rock/pop band 
  • Work together on covers or original songs 
  • Learn about song arrangement 
  • Build stage presence 
  • Try out live performance techniques 

Open to 11–16 year olds, all skill levels welcome, all equipment provided.

RAP & LYRIC WRITING, Bognor Regis (Ages 8–16) 

22–23 December, 10.30am–3pm, The Phoenix Centre, The Regis School, PO21 5LHO21 5LH 

Come for one day or both! 

This workshop explores the building blocks of rap and songwriting. 

Participants will: 

  • Get to grips with rhythm, flow and wordplay 
  • Experiment with storytelling through lyrics 
  • Create and collaborate in a supportive environment. Leave with real techniques to boost their writing and performing.  

Open to 8–16 year olds, all skill levels welcome, all equipment provided.
