Crawley Sings Live Returns to The Hawth!

TUE 19 FEB 2019

After its success in 2018, West Sussex Music and the schools of Crawley, East Grinstead and Horsham are excited to announce that Crawley Sings Live! is returning to The Hawth on Monday 18th March. Tickets are now on sale for the event, which will see over 150 pupils from the Crawley, East Grinstead and Horsham area uniting as one massed choir, accompanied by a live band, to present an evening of uplifting song.

Led by West Sussex Music’s Leader for Singing Projects, Rosie Secker, Crawley Sings Live! will bring pupils from St Wilfrid’s, Ifield Community College, Sackville, Oriel High, Hazelwick and The Forest School, together in harmony. This year, students from the Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee School and Manor Green College will also be singing, for the first time, as part of the massed choir; making this a wonderfully inclusive event.

“We are delighted to be returning to The Hawth with Crawley Sings Live! and giving pupils from Crawley, East Grinstead and Horsham the opportunity to join together and sing in a professional setting, with a live band and conducted by a choral specialist.” Explains Judith Finlay, Leader for School Engagement, West Sussex Music. “The sensation of standing on stage and hearing applause is incredibly affirming and confidence-building and at West Sussex Music, we work hard to enable access for as many children as possible to these large-scale events and enriching vocal opportunities.”

Tickets are available from The Hawth box office at, so book yours today and join in celebrating the vocal and musical talents of pupils from across the area.
