Many teachers feel unconfident teaching music. If you are an ECT, Class Teacher or TA wanting to upskill then this is the CPD for you.
The day will be full of practical hands-on experience that will support you to overcome any barriers you may be facing.
In the morning, we will focus on practical instrumental skills using percussion and glockenspiels, including gentle and fun ways to use and understand notation.
In the afternoon we will explore ways into improvising and composing that you will feel confident to share not only with your pupils but also your colleagues.
Finally, we will end the day with a look at singing and how we can use sound, vocalising and part singing to get ourselves and our pupils confident and enjoying making music together.
