We pride ourselves on offering a musical journey for every child, at every stage of their musical career.
If your child is interested in playing stringed instruments we have a range of groups from beginner to advanced which are either purely focused on strings, or incorporate them as part of a wider orchestra.

Tomorrow’s Orchestra Programme
This is our entry level orchestra for children who want to explore musical instruments and discover their passion.
Junior Orchestra
Pre grade 1, for students who can read music and play at least 5 notes on their instrument these are –
Bognor Junior Orchestra, Chichester Junior Orchestra, Horsham Junior String Orchestra, Midhurst Junior Orchestra, and Worthing Junior String Orchestra
Training Orchestras
Approx grade 2-4
Horsham Training Strings
Chichester Youth Orchestra
Worthing Youth Orchestra
Youth Strings
West Sussex Youth Orchestra
The final level is the Youth Orchestra (approx grade 5 and up), which rehearses at Horsham, and students have to be in Youth Strings to gain entry.
