Groups for brass and woodwind

We pride ourselves on offering a musical journey for every child, at every stage of their musical career.

If your child is interested in playing brass or woodwind instruments, we have a range of groups from beginner to advanced.

This is our entry level orchestra for children who want to explore musical instruments and discover their passion.

Pre grade 1, for students who can read music and play at least 5 notes on their instrument these are –

Bognor Junior Orchestra, Chichester Junior Orchestra, Horsham Junior Wind Orchestra, Midhurst Junior Orchestra, and Worthing Junior Wind Orchestra

Approx grade 2-4

Worthing Youth Orchestra

The next level up rehearse solely at Horsham Music Centre but it is open to young people from across the county who can play at grade 5 and up.

The final level is the Youth Orchestra (approx grade 5 and up), which rehearses at Horsham, and students have to be in Youth Winds to gain entry.
