Skills & experience
Natalie has worked in education for over twenty years, specialising in children in their early years. She has always brought music into her teaching and started teaching piano on an individual basis in 2017. This extended to working in primary schools when she joined West Sussex Music in 2022.
Natalie enjoys teaching beginners and has had many pupils successfully achieve formal piano performance exams through Trinity College London. However, she believes it is the enjoyment and creativity that is important and aims to make lessons fun through games and activities both on and off the piano. Natalie encourages children to express their creativity through experimentation and by exploring a range of styles and genres, so that they develop a lifelong love of music.
