TUE 05 MAY 2015
Expertly devised and led by our Curriculum Leaders, this workshop is designed to inspire young musicians in the early stages of their learning. It is particularly suitable for those who have been learning through our Key2Music programme in schools as well as recent beginners keen to take their learning to the next level. It is also a good opportunity to see the range of lesson and ensemble activities available at Worthing Music Centre.
The workshop will be held on Saturday June 13 from 9.15am -12.30pm at Worthing College which hosts Worthing Music Centre. Students will learn new pieces and develop musicianship through fun activities in their instrumental groups, before joining Worthing Youth Concert Band to experience playing in a large ensemble. The morning will end with a performance for parents at 11.45am.
Applications are invited from woodwind and brass pupils working within Preparatory Stage to Grade/Stage 1. To apply please click here.
(Please seek guidance from your child’s teacher if you are unsure about their level).
