We’re thrilled to introduce our contemporary session: Play in a Band
Play in a Band is the perfect next step for young singers and contemporary instrumentalists who want to build confidence, develop their skills, and experience what it’s like to rehearse and perform as part of a real band.
Each week, you’ll work with experienced tutors and like-minded young musicians to explore a wide range of popular songs. You’ll learn how to arrange music together, improve your stage presence, and gain practical experience in live performance.
Sessions are welcoming, creative and collaborative, with the chance to perform to friends and family at the end of each term.
QM Studios is a recording studio offering 3 fully equipped rehearsal rooms, control room and recording booth.
Who can join? Anyone age 7-16yrs learning the following instruments:
Guitar, Drums, Bass Guitar, Piano/Keyboard, vocals or backing vocals.
When does play in a band take place? Rehearsals take place on Thursdays, 4.00pm – 5.00pm
Where can I join? Play in a Band meets at Horsham Contemporary Music Centre. Try something new!

Play in a Band lets you develop your skills as a member of a band. Whether you’re a vocalist or lead singer, a rhythm or lead guitarist, bassist, drummer, or keys player we’ll find a role for you.
As well as improving your musical skills, Play in a Band provides the opportunity to make new friends, celebrate successes, and support each other throughout. Explore your untapped potential!
