Skills & experience

Donna has a wealth of experience in primary education, having taught as a class teacher both in the London Borough of Harrow and in British Schools in the UAE. Her heart has always been in the teaching of music, and after many years of KS2 class teaching, she went on to specialise in class music teaching, working with children from aged 4 -11. She has coached numerous choirs and orchestras, and directed school productions including The Lion King and The Wizard of Oz.  Donna has also offered individual and small group lessons on a variety of instruments to both primary and secondary aged students. As well as teaching Piano and Keyboard, Donna has experience in teaching Clarinet, Saxophone, Recorder, Ukulele, Singing and Music Theory.

Donna enjoys teaching students of all ages and levels, and believes in delivering lessons that are interactive, friendly and fun, while incorporating the right level of musical challenge to ensure progress.  She has previously worked for ABRSM as a local overseas representative and is happy to coach students for formal exams, if this is something parents wish to pursue.

Testimonials

I count myself very fortunate to have had Mrs Morley as a teacher and a mentor for such a large, important part of my life, sparking a very childish want in me that developed into a true passion for music that I’ll always carry with me.          YEAR 12 STUDENT
