Live music in Midhurst

Two free musical concerts are taking place at Midhurst Rother College, organised by Kidenza featuring singer Emily Barden, supported by West Sussex Music.

This is a not to be missed interactive Live Music performance at Midhurst Rother College on Wednesday 15 July open to schools.

We will be presenting two concerts in the morning for KS1 and KS2, the first is now fully booked, but the second, from 11am to 12pm still has places and schools are welcome to bring as many pupils as they would like.

This is a great opportunity for  children to experience live orchestral music, get to know about the instruments, and join in themselves!

The performers are from Kidenza, a professional orchestra specialising in fun, educational and inspiring concerts for schools. Kidenza musicians perform with some of the UK’s finest orchestras, and their events are designed to make orchestral music accessible, exciting and unforgettable. You can see them in action here.

We’re excited to share that there will also be audience participation led by the wonderful Emily Barden.

Thanks to our Arts Council England funding and the generous support of the Bowerman Foundation and others,  we are delighted to be able to offer tickets to the concerts for FREE.

We can also offer financial support towards the costs of coach hire for schools.

We feel this is an exceptional opportunity for pupils and staff alike, and one we hope will stay with them for years to come.

Home educated children are also invited, with one adult max per child required to accompany them.
